2026 edition

BeeMad is an amazing event, especially when it comes to atmosphere. The enthusiasm and energy of the audience during pro shows and comps really make a difference and make the experience special. The parties run longer than at most events I’ve attended recently, as there are no strictly competitions, and the Jack & Jill didn’t go on until midnight - which I really appreciated as a social dancer. The hotel accommodation is of a very high standard. Breakfast offers great quality with plenty of options, and it’s served until 10:30. The dance floor can be a bit sticky, so it’s worth bringing shoes that handle that well. The venue also tends to get quite warm later in the evening, so packing a couple of spare T-shirts is a good idea. Overall, I would absolutely love to come back. And by the way - the Bee Party is an amazing concept!

Such a friendly, fun event! The venue is very close to Madrid airport (15 min taxi for €15) in a nice residential area with a supermarket. There are lots of apartments nearby available through Airbnb etc if you like to be able to cook. Also easy to get into central Madrid on the metro for sightseeing. Overall a great event which I’d recommend, but it did get very warm in the ballroom in the afternoons, it was humid and the air conditioning was limited. The Spanish dancers are all so friendly and there was lots of mixing across levels during the social. Social dancing finished early on Sunday (5-9:30pm), and this was the only social where there were a lot more followers than leaders. It was otherwise well balanced.

I LOVE this event! The emotions and the people... Aaaah🥰🥰 music was fire all the time, and I loved the workshops. Floor was a bit sticky at times and space was tight during comps, it was good in socials. The hotel is really nice with a great breakfast. Really recommended, I met so many new friends
