Workshops There were 7 levels of workshops, and you could audition into a higher level. Auditions went pretty smoothly: probably around 10-20% success rate for some of the levels. Workshops also started in the afternoon which is a game changer for late night social dancers who also want to take workshops. Food I didn’t buy the buffet dinners, but I probably should have at least for one of the days bc I felt really rushed for food between workshops and competitions. They provide free supper at midnight which is awesome and the best idea ever! Great way to socialize outside of the ballroom and recharge before social dancing. Social dancing Best part of the weekend for me, social floor was amazing all nights, hundreds of people stayed until they shut down the ballroom Monday morning. Also saw a lot of pros on the social floor at various times. They had a sticker incentive for breakfast clubbing 4 nights in a row which I thought was cool. Competitions/Shows Everything went smoothly, and the pro am comps on Sunday were fun to watch. I like that JnJs start and finish on the same day. Watching J’Ems choreo in person was amazing, and the invitational was also super fun to watch.
