ASC is a great event! Here are the things I liked: 1. The hotel is a 40 minute train ride from the airport and costs $3.50 each direction. 2. There are lots of food and grocery stores within walking distance. 3. The hotel offers a free shuttle that will take you anywhere within a few miles of the hotel. 4. The floor is big and the event has lots of people to dance with. 5. The event pass is cheap, especially if you get the early bird pricing. 6. The website is super clear and thorough. 7. If you arrive in town a day early, you can dance at the main local social at Wicked Westie on Wednesday. Things I didn't like: 1. The Sunday dance was in a smaller side ballroom. There wasn't enough space for dancing and the DJs were playing a lot of fast music. It was really hot in there. It might not be worth staying Sunday night. 2. No leveled workshops.
