2026 edition

Bretzel Swing is truly the definition of what a social swing event should be! I had an incredible weekend filled with great energy, high organization, and warm vibes. Atmosphere: Extremely cozy and friendly. Since the event size is kept well-balanced rather than overly crowded, it’s super easy to socialize, meet almost everyone, and dance with people of all levels—from complete beginners to champions. Dance Floor & Venue: The dance floor is quite spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to dance freely without feeling squeezed. For me, the floor condition was completely fine; some dancers used powder (which was easily accessible), and by the end of the day, it was very comfortable for everyone. Music: DJs read the room and energy exceptionally well throughout the event and played amazing, high-quality sets. Workshops: The 1.5-hour workshop format is brilliant. Having 90 minutes gives you enough time to really absorb the concepts, learn deeply, and practice properly without feeling rushed. The room sizes were spacious. Competitions & Parties: Even though it’s heavily focused on being a social event, the competitions were a highlight! They ran right on schedule and added fantastic energy to the event. The party hours were generous and perfectly organized. Logistics & Accommodation: Nearby hotels are very reasonably priced. The organizers provide shuttle services between hotels and the venue. Driving is also super convenient with easy parking. Food & Surroundings: Having a food truck on-site for two days serving tasty food was a huge plus. The surrounding area is spacious with lovely parks to relax in between classes. International Friendly: A huge shoutout for running the entire event in English! This is surprisingly rare in France and made international guests feel completely included. Everything went smoothly, and I had an absolute blast. I am definitely coming back next year!

2026 edition

Bretzel Swing is one of my favorite events and one that I truly enjoy coming back to. I was already there last year and really enjoyed it, which is why I was happy to return this year! Event has a really social atmosphere. People are super friendly, and the size of the event makes it easy to meet people, socialize, and dance with dancers of all levels. I also really like the workshops and the quality of the classes. The one-hour class concept works especially well for me. Everything was very well organized, from the competitions to the parties. I definitely hope to be back again next year!

2026 edition

This was the third edition of the Bretzel Swing ! The classes were amazing, the slot were 1h30 which made it feel like small intensives. The atmosphere of the event was very friendly and welcoming, everybody danced with everybody ! The event is fully in english ( classes, MC, ...) so it makes quite an international event for a social event. The venue is not in Strasbourg but there is a shuttle from the hotel. I would go back for sure ! 🥨😊

Bretzel swing is a cosy easy going fun weekend with lots of dancers there for the vibes and just to dance a lot. Its well organised and feeling at home in the community
