There is no airconditioning, only some big industrial fans. But for the amount of people not enough. If it's hot outside, it's hot inside. Floor is a ballroom floor and very very slippery, and has some kind of wax? on it, and your shoes get it on the sole. So don't use your new dance shoes. The building has a big room which can be divided into 3 workshop rooms, and the bar. For the party they have the big ballroom and the bar. Mostly bar area is very crowded with high level dancers, and ballroom feels quick empty due to the size. It can be hard to invite a lot of different dancers, since some dancers prefer to stay within their own group. A nice bonus is that they offer discounted passes for dancers from neigbouring countries.

D-town was crazily hot, with not enough fans nor airco to make it better. The whole event seemed to be more commercial, without the soul. Also, there is not enough space at socials: dancing in the main room is impossible and after 1.5 songs you want to leave, but the only alternative is to dance at the bar/entrance area which doesn’t have much space. Classes were okay but not great either.

We reported a sexual harassment incident and the response was very bad. Mark just didn't seem to want to do anything about it without seeing it himself. He basically said there's nothing he can do - and this offender has been known to be problematic before. I refuse to attend his events for this reason. Very few options for lodging or food by the event, getting there is inconvenient. The venue is hot, but that's most dance venues/events around this time.

The venue is pretty old, floor seems to be very used and hence it is too slippery. Event is happening in June and there is no proper airco, so it is pretty hot :( On the other side - teachers are really top champions.

The heat made it difficult to dance as much as I would normally dance.
