2026 edition

SwitchXperience Berlin can't be compared to the Paris version. It has a different purpose, since Paris is the academy of switchcraft and stealery, and Berlin the mad tea party. Berlin SwitchX has a very cosy vibe, themed workshops for your WCS secondary role and switch&steal level, intensives, Mad Garden party with fun games where you can collect stickers for a nice souvenir, j&j switch on Saturday and strictly team battle on Sunday, and the famous madness two times a night. Great dj's with good music. There were 2 very slippery dance floors for dancing but organisers warned about it in the email you've received prior to the event, so you could pack accordingly. Haven't been to the 3rd floor for workshops so can't say anything about it. The slippery floor didn't bother me personally, because my shoes worked fine on it. Due to the fact that it was very warm outside, inside was warm as well, during workshops it was OK, but more during the parties, so to take into consideration to bring a lot of shirts for changing during the party, windows couldn't be opened because then the flamingos would be gone (very nice formulated in the theme of the event). Overall and to not forget, very gently and accessible organisers. Berlin SwitchX is a very cosy event for Switch & Steal!

It won't get much better than SwitchXperience Berlin, that's for sure. The vibe, people, workshops, socials, comps, and shows are all excellent! Everyone is there for a shared love of switching and stealing, and it shows. It's going to be the most inclusive crowd you can find, and making new friends has never been easier. The highlight is, of course, the Madness! Two half-hour (and sometimes a bit longer :D) periods where everyone on the dance floor consents to being switched and stolen by anyone. It's pure chaos in the best sense of the word. Even if you don't want to participate, watching it from the sidelines is a true spectacle. The venue is mostly great. Two floors for workshops and socials. The main ballroom's floor is very slippery, so be aware. It will also get hot, especially during the Madness. Unfortunately, windows can't be opened due to noise complaints from the neighbors. Fortunately, the lower room (atrium) is better with the heat. Although, that one can get more crowded. The location within Berlin is great! Right in the middle of a plethora of shops and restaurants, easily reachable by public transport, and if you come by car there is free parking not too far away. The music is also great, both during the socials and during comps. Comps are great fun! It's a very chill, mostly non-competitive vibe. This event will be most fun for you if you know at least the basics in both roles. It's not a requirement, though. Workshops are unleveled and don't require any auditions. All in all, a great event, and I will continue coming every year!

My first SwitchX, and definitely not my last! What I appreciated a lot was that the workshops had a title in the schedule, so you had an idea what was taught, and could decide better whether to go or not. The workshops were awesome, and the socials as well! The Madness is definitely something that you have to experience yourself. But PLEASE get better AC next year, the main ballroom was too hot for me to dance more than a couple songs. The Atrium was a little better, though still not great. I can’t say anything about the Mad Garden Party, as I was not there.

This is by far my favorite event yet. It's the first WCS event I've been where you regularly hear genuine uncontrollable laughs coming from the dancefloor. Usually because someone tried something new out and it came out totally unexpected in a good way. The level of freedom of experimentation on the dancefloor is inspiring

Clevi and their Team did an amazing job with this event! Great venue, workshops and parties. And the incredible madness twice every night. SwitchX is a must-go event for everyone who loves dancing both lead and follow, switching and stealing. Will be attending next year for sure
