I attended the Dutch Open with a party pass. While I didn't stay at the host hotel or attend workshops, I had a very positive experience with the social side of the event. • Atmosphere & Community: This is a relatively small and incredibly friendly event. I found the people to be very welcoming, making it a great opportunity to socialize. One of the highlights was seeing the Champions and All-Star dancers joining the parties and being so approachable on the dance floor. • The Social Vibe: Even though the general level was not high, those who were there were very active and open to dancing with everyone. A wonderful and generous touch was the abundance of delicious snacks and cakes offered during the parties—it really added to the hospitality. • Competitions & Prizes: The competitions were well-organized and consistently ran on time. The trophies are really beautiful and have a unique design. However, it was quite a disappointment to see that no actual prizes or presents were given to the winners, not even for first place. Given how great the trophies look, a small gift or prize would have matched that high standard better. • Venue & Technicals: The dance floor was high quality and comfortable. The room temperature was kept quite cool—almost a little chilly—which I found perfect for staying fresh while dancing. • Late Night Schedule: Most of the parties didn't stretch into the early morning hours, as the dance floor tended to thin out around 1:00 AM, with the exception of Saturday night. Summary: Overall, the Dutch Open is a nice event for those looking for a cozy and social environment. The hospitality and the friendly nature of the pros made it very enjoyable, though adding some recognition/prizes for competitors would be a great improvement.

I attended Dutch Open this year and I’m already planning to come back next year! The event is absolutely lovely — a spacious dance floor, plenty of room to dance, and a very cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Even though it’s a relatively small event, it feels very international and friendly to visitors, with everything in English, which makes it easy to connect with people. I especially want to highlight the workshops — they were truly outstanding. The teachers were incredible, and the quality of the workshops was simply top-notch. My only small wish is regarding the pricing. I’ve heard from many people that they decided not to attend because it felt too expensive. I would really love for more dancers to have the chance to experience Dutch Open, because it brings so many positive emotions and energy. More accessible pricing could also help attract more professional dancers. Overall, it’s a wonderful event that I would highly recommend!

This has been a premium WCS event in the Netherlands for many years. A consistently organised event with top teachers like Jordan and Tatiana, a comprehensive hotel and meals package, a nice ballroom and dance floor and friendly dancers. On the down side this year the price felt a bit more premium and I wished that more people had stayed late on Sunday. My favourite part was the workshops, with the chance to work with Jordan and Tatiana as well as other top professionals.

I'm a bit biased since i'm from the Dutch commity, but I love the event. It's cosy and familiar. With lot's of friends, a nice hotel and always a great staff of international teachers. And great dj's! I'll be back next year :) Pointers - it is quite remote and far from a town's center, so take your groceries with you if needed and yoi come by car - come by car if you can, or ask people from the local community to come pick you up from the trainstation - some of the workshop room floors are sticky and rough

It was very well organised. I would have loved for th temperature to be slightly higher in the daytime.
