2026 edition

My first time at GGP and I was really positively surprised! 🙃 The venue is very large, with good air conditioning. The floor is good, and there is plenty of space on the dance floor, even when it gets busy. Another big plus is how easy it is to get there — you can walk from Terminal 3 CDG. There are lots of workshops, with well-chosen levels. You can really see that the content has been carefully planned and coordinated so that the classes don’t overlap or repeat the same thing. And an important point for anyone coming from outside France: this is a very international-friendly French event!!! The workshops and MCing are in English, so you don’t need to speak French to enjoy the event. The parties have a really open and welcoming atmosphere, with people genuinely interested in communicating and connecting. Nobody excludes you or refuses to dance with you just because you don’t speak French/not be French. Overall, the atmosphere is fantastic — open, friendly and very welcoming. ❤️

2026 edition

GGP's first time in Paris at the Hilton Hotel CDG Airport, very easy to reach from the airport (depending on which terminal you arriving, or train station CDG, there is a free shuttle between the terminals). Small supermarket at the station (few minutes walking from the hotel), and a very easy to reach big supermarket Auchan in the Aéroville (20min public transport). If you're staying at the Hilton, there is an empty minibar in the room, and free water fountains on every floor near room 01. There was no water fountain near the ballroom, but during night you could ask the reception for a refill (they did it without any problem), and during the day at the bar. Hilton has very good and complete breakfast buffet (starts from 06h in the weekend!), and for dinner you could pay for a buffet (reserve in advance if you want to be sure to have a spot). Ballroom had a very good floor (Olivier Massart's floor), so slippery enough and love to dance on it! Temperature was good. Ratio follower leader was in the beginning of the evening not the best, more followers, but after 02h it was way more balanced. Great battle, finals, routines. Great music, really loved all the sets from the DJ's! MC spoke in English and it was an English spoken event, as well during workshops. Overall, very nice event, to recommend!

2026 edition

Such a cute small event outside of Paris, close to CDG airport. Convenient location, good floor, nice community, good organization. Many hours of workshops and social dancing, many strictly competition opportunities. Good choice for English speakers and internationals as well. Nice hotel and dining options inside. I would definitely recommend this event for anyone who wants to experience the great French dancing community.

2025 edition

I've been to GGP since the 1st edition, the registry one. Please note that it's a young event that changed location several times, so the informations you'll find about the venue will mostly be unreliable. For the 2026 edition you can refer to FOWCS's venue reviews. Igor is the event director and you can feel that he poured a lot of love in his event and he is always open to improvements. It's an event which main pillar is routines. I would recommend it to anyone who loves routines and shows. Well it's also WSDC. The other interest of this event lies in the workshops, who are directed and organized very well to make them interesting, technicals, complete, originals, and the team chooses good teachers and themes. The drawback is the social dancing that is starting quite late and sometimes some DJs could have done better (a set melting the song's ending is not my cup of tea). Well. It's hard to find the perfect balance. People tend to find the event welcoming, internationals included. But for now there is only a few internationals (because far from Paris). It is a Massart's floor, so a bit too slippery but still good. Toulouse is not the most convenient but next year near Paris should be easier to go to.

2026 edition

New venue in Paris is absolutely gorgeous! Lots of space on the dancefloor, beautiful setup and lighting, good sound. The venue is walking distance from CDG Terminal 3, so it’s very easy to reach both by plane or by train from city center. There are no malls etc nearby, however hotel has nice breakfast and was offering dinners for very reasonable price (25€ for buffet dinner). Executive lounge doesn’t really cost its money, there are only soft drinks and coffee machine. Event organisation was a little chaotic and comps finished quite late on Saturday night. But the amount of workshops was crazy, 10 hours per every level except All stars. Maybe it’s better to have a little less workshops with more breaks between them, and then comps starting and finishing earlier. Great Saturday show with all the routines. Lots of space to dance on the parties, music and sound were great. Great event for both social/workshops and competition lovers!
