2026 edition

This event was okay and here are the things they could improve: 1. Checking in and registering for the event made me download the World Dance Registry app. I don't like how everything wants you to download an app nowadays. 2. There were far too few fans in the room. The fans were also placed in the corners of the room not close to the floor. It was pretty hot and humid. 3. Marshalling for comps was a very manual process reliant on one person who seemed overwhelmed. 4. The event was small (under 300 people) and the socials ended early. Thursday, Friday, and Sunday ended around 2am. Saturday ended at 4am. 5. The music alternated from good to boring/uninteresting and back to good. 6. The ballroom was REALLY and unnecessarily dark. It was incredibly hard to recognize people. 7. The floor tiles were uneven all weekend. I kept getting caught on edges that were not aligned. Thursday was the worst of the issue but it was still noticeable the whole weekend. Things I liked: 1. There's an option to just pay for the socials which saves money. 2. The hotel is nice and the elevators are fast. Lots of food and cool things to see nearby. 3. Parking was free nearby starting Friday.
