2026 edition

I think I found 2026 edition better than 2025 in terms of music and extremely crowded dance floors. This year I enjoyed event more, music was really good, and floors a bit less crowded due to many last minute cancellations I think. Staff was great as always, with fun pro shows to watch. I went just for parties this year. Last year I felt the class material wasn't that high even though I passed the audition for higher level than my points. So I'll reconsider taking full pass at King swing in next years if I'm coming, unless I level up and can secure a spot at one of the higher levels because the staff is usually pretty good there!

2026 edition

First time attending an event with only Party Pass, felt like I had allll the time in the world. Role balance (extra followers) could be improved and the main floor got quite hot & crowded during peak times. Dungeon is always a nice alternative though, but even there it got a bit crowded sometimes. Floor feels decent, beware of splinters in the Dungeon though! I tried dancing in socks one evening but stopped very quickly after being attacked by the wooden floor twice. Comps went smoothly overall. The decoration is so whimsical and to watch the sun rise from the main dancefloor feels quite magical indeed. There was a cute Bingo to get people to know each other, be silly and have fun and include newer dancers. Made it to breakfast club once - quite pricey, but amazing buffet so I'd say worth the price. Food options for lunch/dinner at the hotel feel a bit overpriced for what they are. Will definitely consider going again!

Probably my favourite European event. Maybe I‘m biased because it was my first event outside of home town. But I went 4 times already, so… The atmosphere created by the organisers is amazing, workshops were excellent, and nothing beats exhausted dancing to late night music while the sunrise colours the room to peachy gold. 3 floors with different music and a clear DJ schedule mean that anyone can find something to their taste at any given time during the social as well. Hotel is good value for money too.

2026 edition

There's a reason this even is sold out in seconds every year. You have 3 floors with one dedicated late night floor, parties until min 6 every night and a stunning sunrise view for those who manage to stay that long. It's not as focused and comps as other events. They keep them to the bare minimum and keep the schedule tight. Semis start right after prelims, which can be straining for some, but it spares people endless waiting and lingering around. The vibe is incredible and the Sunday parties legendary. Floor can be sticky with plastic soles and it definitely gets a bit sticky on the late night floor due to humidity. Main floor is perfect with leather soles.

It's a large event, but not huge. Easy to get to. Beautiful city to explore. I had amazing workshops. Nights were quite crowded, finding space to dance was sometimes a challenge.
