2025 edition

One of the friendliest event I've ever been! Attention to the details from organizers in order to make our experience better! Face paint, thematic parties, printed photos for us to take them, notes envelopes... 🙌🏻 Great music, and the best floor, and awesome photographer who is always there to both capture every moment but also to social dance with you, or even join the classes! 🙈🔥 Spacious dancefloor with nice and friendly dancers. The only bad thing inconvenient location. Yes, the Lidl is right there, but not other to sit and eat food options, and hotel itself doesn't have friendly prices. It is so far from the city center and going to the beach would be a challenge even if you're a party pass person. But with my full pass schedule I didn't even have time for exploring I just took a day extra after event to spend in Lisbon. There was a pool to chill and sunbath in the moments of break.

2026 edition

Such a friendly community and well-oragnized event! My favorite thing was the 'Kind Message Corner' where we could leave sweet messages to our dance buddies, please keep that tradition! Also I loved the gesture when we were headed towards the dance floor, the organizers gave high fives to us and wished good luck, that was so sweet! The pool party award ceremony was so cool, never seen that before! And the DJ played great song during the competitions, felt like a social dance party. :) The event hotel was nice but the way to the event hotel was not convenient by foot, and the hotel was out of nowhere, just a KFC and Lidl was near to it. The restaurant service was slow, we needed to wait 45 minutes to get our lunch and the waiters were slow as well, like true daydreamers. :D The event's size was small/middle, the dance floor was good, and I loved the themed parties at night. My favorite photographer was there and we even got some photos printed out of ourselves. At the last night, we got a lot of snacks during the dance, fruit baskets, cookies, chocolates, popsicles etc., it was such a great surprise, we loved it! Wish we could have had that each night! I loved the concept of the silicone bracelets, they were on different colors which symbolized the workshop levels and party pass, so we did not need to wear many bracelets, especially not paper ones that get wet, just one which is useful for the event and also a great memory for our bottles and we could take them off when we danced during the night or at home/sleepytime. One more thing I wish they could have, please organize more competitions, not just normal J&J, but also Switch, Strictly, High-Low that would be fantastic and more attractive! All in all, it was a nice event to attend :)

2026 edition

The few workshops we had were incredible with amazing teachers, but would have liked more workshops. Since comps took the entire day on Saturday, if you don't compete, you will have a lot of downtime so you can visit Lisbon (but the venue is far away from everything). Competitions ran smoothly and everything was on time throughout the event. The floor was great, and even though the event was big, the social dance floor never felt too packed. Air con was fairly good and appreciated. But the event didn't feel social; many international groups stuck together, so the vibe was not great for solo folks.

2025 edition

Lisbon Westie Fest is at a very nice hotel with the swimming pool to chill at during the day between classes or in the evening taking a break from social. Good music, great friendly vibe, enough rooms and space to dance at. The venue is a bit far away from any tourist attractions or city center, so worth exploring after the event.

Very cozy and nice event. Great location and nice venue hotel. I had a lot of fun and was happy to support the first edition of the event. Definitely recommend it 🙂
