Extraordinary beautiful location, it's feels a bit like you were dancing in a palace under the chandeliers, loved it! First trial event, but could not find anything that needs to be improved, and you could really see that the event director Aymie put hear whole heart into it! Great location, central located in Brussels, easy to reach by public transport, scooter or bike, lots of accomodation options nearby. There are 2 rooms with an original wooden floor, so perfect for dancing. Enough space to dance during parties. Great workshops from top instructors, also solo classes (line dance, hiphop and styling) were offered. Competitions running on time and there was a very nice encouragement meeting from all the teachers for the newcomers before the spotlight finals, because yes, everything is spotlight. There were very nice handmade awards given. Atmosphere at the event was very friendly and chill vibes. The Saturday night show with more then 15 minutes of very talented pro's giving a perfectly insane show was just awesome! Really an event to go too, could suggest it to everybody! Such a beautiful venue, you really want to dance there yourself!

Manneken Swing is one of those events that hits the mark the moment you walk in. Located right in the heart of Brussels, the venue itself is simply amazing—stepping inside almost feels like being transported to a different dimension. The room temperature stays right at that sweet spot, keeping the whole space cozy and welcoming all weekend. What Really Worked Incredible Champion Access: The pros and champions aren't hiding in a VIP area. They’re right there on the floor, approachable, and ready to help with anything you need. Spotlight Competitions: Running all the comps under spotlights gives the whole weekend a distinct feel. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it adds a fun, dramatic edge to the show. The Extra Touches: Handing out free macarons one evening was a great touch. Plus, they recorded all the finals and threw them up on YouTube in crisp, high quality—a huge win for rewatching your dances. The Drawbacks A Bit Slick: The dance floor itself is fine, but it leaned a bit too slippery. If you like a little more grip, you’ll definitely notice it. Tricky Acoustics: The sound in the room is the main issue. It’s tough to pick out subtle instruments in the music, and the MC's voice tends to get washed out in the echo, making announcements hard to decipher. Even with the echoey room and a fast floor, Manneken Swing is an absolute blast. The stunning setting, incredible community feel, top-tier talent, and thoughtful details make it an easy event to recommend.

The venue was gorgeous and spacious. The only possible hindrance may have been the separation walls/doors in relation to workshop access. This was advertised well in advance though and possible worked in favour of people being promot and organized on time. Most of the workshops for my level (2) including my intensive fell on Friday. Sat&Sunday we're a little slow while Fri I was exhausted after flying in w/no sleep. But boo-boo, that's hardly a complaint 😜 The recommended hotel was walking distance from dance venue. Though: all restaurants and cafés close in the area for the weekend, so prep or be ready to walk/commute.

Enjoyed this event a lot! The location was beautiful, with plenty of space and good ventilation. The floor might be a little slippery in some corners, but nothing critical. The organisation was also really good - everything was on time, and the staff were very helpful. And the vibe was amazing, with the pro show, costumes, and music. I really enjoyed it!

What an incredible event! I’d absolutely go again next year. The organization was top-notch, and the stunning venue set the perfect vibe right from the start, thanks to the wonderful team behind it. There was plenty of space for dancing, which was great. The only hiccup for me was the music on Friday and Saturday; I’m not sure if it was the party themes or just not my style. But Sunday’s party really hit the mark!
