2026 edition
This review is for 2025. Things I liked: 1. The floor was big. 2. The event generally ran on time and the social dancing was fun. 3. There's lots of food options nearby. 4. Workshops are 50 minutes with a 10 minute built in break in between. Things I didn't like: 1. It was incredibly humid in the ballroom. Everyone was very sweaty and the floor was sticky. I heard from some friends that it similarly humid in 2026. 2. The hotel is a 45 minute drive from the airport with no easy public transit options. 3. Some workshops are leveled but there's no audition process to move up a level. 4. The critique and guided practice sessions are Saturday and Sunday morning. There's definitely room in the schedule to put that a better time later in the day.
