This year's Neverland Swing was plagued by a continent-wide heatwave, which meant less dancing than usual unfortunately. Nevertheless, the vibes were absolutely there. Neverland is a mostly local event, and this makes it great for socializing. Lots of friendly people! Huge props to Chief Judge Chuck, who warned the competitors before every competition about the heat, and had proper precautions in place to prevent anyone from fainting or getting dehydrated. That being said, the rest of the organization around competitions could have been improved massively. There was no clear time table, and comps started later than advertised frequently. Staff was a great plus for this event. For it being a small event, it is great to have Champions from overseas. The shows were great, and included extra All-Star shows, some great routines, and amazing vibes from the audience. Decent dance floor, and some great DJs. It was always easy to find someone I wanted to dance with. To rest, there were plenty of spots to sit down, and ventilators to cool down.

Really great way to get in touch with the Dutch community, very friendly welcoming people. It's a very beginner friendly event, it has a very chill vibe. Good floor for dancing, could be a bit more slippery for me personally, but with the socks on my shoes it worked well. Spacious ballroom, space enough to dance, even compared at normally crowd moments at other dance events. Comps run on time and there is a lot of time for social dancing. They were not lucky with the heatwave and code red, and since the venue didn't have AC, it was really warm, even with the big fans turning on non-stop. Hope next year it won't be 37 degrees!

The vibe of the event was extremely friendly and chill. I really loved all DJ sets. Parties were amazing. There is a room for improvement on the completion organization side. It would be good to know the schedule in advance. The temperature was insanely high. The venue had no ac. That was a downside.

It's always a nice experience to be at Neverlandswing. This year unfortunately it was very warm because of the heat wave. Other than that, it is usually a nice cozy event with amazing people around.

I think the audition was to early on Saturday morning. 🙈. Maybe next year in Friday evening before the party? And is was a pitty that the glow party was only on the small room. It was fun decorating yourself, but no one was dancing there and in the big room you couldn't see it. We were the "lucky ones" having a heath wave in that weekend, so it was very hot! 🥵 Some great engineers made a cooling circle with the fans and that helpt a bit. Overall I had a blast this weekend! Met new great people and saw some old friends and off course great dances!! Would definitely come back next year!
