2026 edition

I had an incredible time at the Nordic WCS Championships. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the venue was outstanding. I would definitely attend this event again. Exceptional Venue: The hotel venue was truly amazing. The dance floor was high quality and very well-ventilated. A very practical plus was the microwave available in the hotel lobby, which allowed guests to heat up food and eat comfortably. The Nordic Community: Coming from Germany, this was a unique experience for me. I had the chance to meet and dance with many people I had never encountered before at other European events. The heavy attendance from Nordic countries makes this a perfect trip for anyone from Central or Southern Europe looking to broaden their horizons and experience a fresh dance community. Party Floors: While the smaller floor felt crowded on Thursday and Sunday, Friday and Saturday in the large hall were excellent. The Event Director’s promise that all parties will be held in the large hall next year is a great improvement. Atmosphere & Level: The vibe was positive and the staff were incredibly warm. Although the dance level was relatively high, there was no "clique" feeling—everyone was dancing with everyone, and the environment was very inclusive and approachable. Location & Logistics: While the venue is a bit outside the Stockholm center, there is a large shopping mall and several restaurants nearby. This made it very easy to buy groceries and manage the stay conveniently. Summary: This is a top-tier event that offers a refreshingly different crowd and a warm social environment. With the convenience of the nearby mall and the plans for a larger party space next year, it’s a must-attend for any WCS dancer. I am already planning to return!

2025 edition

The air conditioning worked well, and the workshops were really nice. You could choose them based on your role and interests (hip-hop, contemporary, leader- or follower-focused), although the groups were quite large. The main ballroom had a great floor, while the second dance floor was a bit too slippery. Music was really nice.

2026 edition

Perfectly organized event with everything planned down to the smallest detail. Very good staff and interesting workshops. Everything ran very smoothly. One of the best dance floors I’ve experienced at dance events — very "joint-friendly". The hotel was nice and comfortable, and the breakfasts were great. The only downside was that the dance floor was a bit too small for the number of participants, so on Friday and Saturday it felt too crowded. I will come back next year.

2026 edition

Event director is very friendly and aproachable. Event workshop was varied with wsdc leveled groups from novice points group to advanced/allstar level. Social dancing was crowded but more floorspace was promised for next year. Comps ran quite smoothly.

I really like these events that Ibi holds in Scandic infra city. Definetly will join future. The environment around is not the most fanciest I've seen, but what matters to me is dance, and that I can do really well in the Nordics
