The approach towards workshops: Lots of all level, based on interest rather than points. The inclusion of talk conferences was wonderful! The music: Amazing dj's all weekend who understand the flow of the room and teach it too! The instructors: Not only great dancer and teachers, but ones who radiate positivity and encourage experimentation The venue: Cold during workshops 🥶 the floor is very slippery and wasn't screwed down perfectly at the beginning. Easy to get to though, and multiple dance floors

Travelling WestieParty Pass

As a party-pass late-night dancer, this was a nice event that I'll likely go to again, especially since the venue/organizers changed (previous editions weren't terrible, but the cons outweighed wanting to go again). This is a great event for attracting a whole variety of dancers from surrounding areas, lots of different people to dance with! I really like that they had 2 dance floors, even if the other one was tiny, this easily elevates an event because options are great. The venue was nice, though you still had to go outside from the hotel to reach the venue. The restaurant options in the area weren't great for vegetarians, but there was a supermarket nearby. Sunday event parties in France are always wonky, but they moved the dancing to the foyer/hall which was still workable and nice to be able to continue dancing. The music was a little loud in some spots, but the floor was big enough, though pretty packed at the height of the party. I liked the high ceilings, they helped make things cooler.

First time in the H4 Pleyel Saint Denis hotel, very easy to reach with public transport. If you stay in the hotel, take into account that they have different rooms, as well with bathroom inside the room, what can be a bit suprised, so book the one that is suitable for you. But aside that, rooms are spacious and new. Only downside is that you have to walk outside the hotel to the ballroom, but it's not even a minute. Main ballroom is very big, very high ceiling, they put a very big floor (the Olivier Massart floor), and since it was not humid at all, the floor was more fast than on other events, but I really loved it. The second ballroom had another floor, which I preferred less personally, it was more sticky, especially if you compare it to the main ballroom. Parties are a bit warm at the beginning of the evening, but no sticky floor at all. I am sure next year it's gonna be even better with the temperature, hotel needs to get used to a dance event, and Kyle (organizer) knows from experience that next year it's better. Classes were very good (in English). Competitions were running on time, very well organized. They used the Swing dancer app for it. Event schedule can be a bit overwhelmed for the first time, as it is based on how US events works, but if you make your planning in advance, it's easy to attend everything you want, but sometimes you have to choose between class or comps, so it's depending on what you would like to get out of the event. You can't do everything and at PSC it's true, it's impossible. Really liked the special tracks for the classes, with the creator, performer, partner, technician and the builder. Also WSDC levels classes and practice. So you can really chose. MC Lee and Lauren we're doing great, really loved Lauren as an MC! Organisers did an amazing job for the first time, you see and feel that all of them have organized before, it was really well done! Overall an event what I can suggest with my eyes closed and you don't want to miss!!!

Well organized, excellent classes and inspiring performances. I am a solo follower - not French - and found it equally, if not more inclusive than other events. The location was super convenient to Metro so it was easy to get around Paris as well.

I really enjoyed the diversity and variety of the dancers, although the French wcs community was the majority. Music was great, floor was amazing (a little too slippery for my taste, but that's a nice "problem" to have), and the average skill level was medium-high, which allowed for great connection and amazing dances. I didn't like that J&J competitions lasted 2 days and they took place simultaneously with social dancing and workshops, which meant you could not attend every workshop if you wanted to compete. This applied to both Saturday and Sunday, which felt like I waste of a full pass if you made finals on Sunday. Merch was really different and creative, and it sold out fast (by Friday there were 5 t-shirts left). Would come back!
