2025 edition

This is the best event in Europe. Yes, better than Budafest! Was the only event were I wasn't hot. Sometimes is better to have a shirt to put over your t-shirt. The lighting is out of this world. It is synced with the music and the vibe of the music for the shows and spotlights. It feels like you are at a concert. Is the only event where they put so much emphasis on lighting. And also they have fireworks when finalist enters the floor. Even though the festival is big, the vibe is warm and nice and less tensed for competition. People are warm and they still have the spirit for "joy of dancing". Music was good also on parties and competitions. There is a mall 5 minutes away from the hotel with a lot of restaurants. Hotel has really good breakfast. The only (small) downsides are: - the location which is 30min away from city center - a bit more pricier than other events - there aren't cheap airbnb's close by so you have to stay at the hotel

2025 edition

SNOW is awesome! Here are the things I liked: 1. The floor is big and has a lot of space to dance and hang out on the sidelines. It's also pretty and the has ~10 water refilling stations that fill up water fast. Temperature was good. 2. The hotel is next to a mall with a lot of dining options and things to do. 3. The hotel breakfast is so delicious. I danced all night every night just for breakfast. 4. Everyone was friendly and welcoming during the parties. 5. If you arrive a day early, you can dance on Wednesday at their local venue. It's a 20 minute taxi ride and there are plenty of people that go from the event hotel. 6. They have a commentary desk similar to what you have for sports. I thought that was fun. 7. During the workshops, the instructors are elevated in the middle of the room and there's a video feed of them project onto the screen so everyone can see. 8. They tear down the floor during the last party as the night goes on. It didn't feel cramped because as the night went on, people had to go to bed or the airport. Things I didn't like: 1. The event pass is expensive compared to other events in Europe, even if you buy it early. 2. There were a decent amount of extra followers on the sidelines. 3. I got stuck in Iceland for 2 days when flying to the event from the US because it snowed half a meter when we landed :) Clearly that's the event organizer's fault for not controlling the weather. 4. It's usually the same weekend as Warsaw Halloween, another great event I'd like to go to. I just go to whatever has the cheaper flight but it'd be nice to be able to attend both!

2025 edition

One of the nicest events I’ve attended! The crowd was incredibly friendly—definitely one of the nicest I’ve met at any event—and you can tell a lot of love and passion goes into organizing this. The production quality, especially with the videographers, was top-notch. The huge dance floor, located directly in the hotel where you’re staying, was fantastic, and breakfast there was excellent too. I also really appreciated the idea of putting a podium in the middle of the room for the teachers—it made it much easier to see them without having to sit down constantly. Overall, a great event with really lovely vibes.

2025 edition

For quite a big event it was really nice vibes. Easy going, novice level classes in two groups. Lots of dancing space, music was a bit much but sunday was really good!

2024 edition

Lovely event! The dance floor is a bit funky in some spots as the floor changes, so be sure to take extra dance shoe options.
