2025 edition

Cute little cozy event! I'm a late night social dancer, and it's a lovely event that's kinda a pain to get back from if you stay until the very end. But they have two dance floors, which is great for dancing variety! The event was one of the first events that I saw do the envelopes (Spring Time Swing also does this)! Upon entry, each person gets an envelope with their name that they hang up in the back of the venue, there are note stations where people can write nice little notes for other attendees. The city center is pretty, has good food options, and decent lodging locations. The venue is a decent distance from the city center, and trains to the venue are easy, but coming back in the wee-hours of the morning is sometimes a pain depending when the next train arrives. I usually try to ride a scooter there so there's one to ride back without waiting on the train. It's a hot event, so there's the occasional pause while the windows are opened, and the floor changes with the humidity, but there's an open air terrace in the back to cool down or chill, which is really nice. Really pleasant event I've been going to for a few years now!

Tanzhaus Bonn venur is located in the same block as some shops (Aldi discounter, DM drugstore, Bakery), so even if you find you forot something there's a chanced it can be cought short-notice (on mon-sat) there a few independent ballrooms, with three of them can be joined for social or competition (whihc was done). Still 2 remain individually usable. There are 3 roof terraces, but unfortunately, cigarette smoke might get drawn inside. In 2026, (not th venie's fault) the public transport (tramway) had contruction work going on, make the stop near the venue a place to change from light rail to buses, eleminating a mainr parking area. The area directly on the door of the mneu has a strict time limit with cars being towed. Still, one of the friendliest experiences so far.

Cozy event with well balanced levels // Floor felt a bit crowded at prime times and it got a litte hot and humid (time for some Stoßlüften) // Public transport is right next to the venue // live acoustic set as a fun addition.
