2026 edition

Such a fantastic event if you want cozy welcome vibes! The Irish community are so friendly and all the hotel staff go above and beyond to look after guests. Ticked all my boxes: levelled workshops without levelled wristbands (so everyone social dances with each other), good spaces to socialise off the dance floor, well organised competitions which run to schedule, and great staff who are excellent teachers but also social dance. Plus a spa at the hotel! This event is still growing and facing a few challenges with outgrowing the floor and possibly the venue itself. The main floor was quite sticky but the smaller floor used for Sunday night was perfect. Absolutely recommend this event but be aware it’s quite an isolated location, so if you are particular about food, you will need a rental car to access alternate options other than the hotel. As there are no alternative hotels available in the immediate vicinity, it’s slightly more expensive but worth every penny. Social dancing only went until 2am due to Irish licensing laws, and this could have been communicated better on Saturday, but Sharon (event director) made it clear to manage our expectations for Sunday.

Was received by the warmest community and people ever 🥹 such a friendly and cozy environment!! I loved how relaxed the energy felt during social dancing. If this is what you find important, definitely come to this event. Another highlight was a visit with event participants to a pub in Carlingford, which ended with a live sing along with a local musician. My heart is full 🫶 The ballroom was small and too hot but not worth expanding on as they will likely change venues next year.

It is definitely one of my favourite events. Very cosy and friendly community that just make you feel like home💚 Adding to it the general vibe of Ireland makes it like a really chill event 🫶🏻 The location is not the best one and getting there without car is rather challenging. The floor this year was too small and a bit sticky, but despite it, event is really worth checking out 🍀💚

It's a very cosy event and lovely people. Hence, would recommend going there. Regarding travel: For non-European passport holders please make sure to check if you require Visa to enter Ireland or not. Even though the immigration officer was very friendly and kind but make sure to have one before arriving. Other than that a beautiful event worth going to.

The event was cosy and a lot of good vibes. Everyone was super friendly! The extra’s (visit to the pub) were really nice to experience.
