2025 edition

I attended this event many times before, and it never disappoints! 😁 It's one of my favorite events thanks to the festive Halloween atmosphere, and I always feel welcome there. The shows are fun to watch, and the ballroom are big enough for such a large number of attendees. I like the floor, and it's not too hot there. The DJ team did a great job, and the strictly Halloween costumes were as cool as always 😎

I had a great time overall, though I found the event’s structure much better suited for competitive dancers than for those focused on social dancing. Venue & Location: The hotel and venue are amazing. There are also really excellent food options in the immediate area, which made the stay very convenient. Social Dancing & Music: The social dancing itself, the floor quality, and the DJ sets were all top-notch. I really enjoyed the vibe once the dancing actually started. Schedule: For someone who isn't a hardcore competitor, the timing was difficult. Competitions ran throughout Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings, meaning social dancing didn't begin until after midnight. This felt way too late for those of us primarily there for the socials. Layout & Atmosphere: Since there is only one floor where the competitions take place, there wasn't a comfortable place to sit or watch. Many people had to wait in the hallway where marshalling and warm-ups were happening, which made it feel chaotic and crowded. Acoustics: The main room didn't seem to absorb sound well. Between the large crowds and constant talking, it became quite loud and overwhelming, to the point where I actually ended up with a headache. Final Thoughts: If you love competing, I definitely recommend this event! It offers a high-level experience for those on the floor. However, if you are strictly a social dancer, the late start times and lack of comfortable space might be a drawback.

The floor should be changed, I've tripped way too many times
