2025 edition

I really enjoyed this event overall. The location was absolutely beautiful and set a great atmosphere for the whole experience. It’s situated in a great area with plenty of nice places to eat nearby, which made everything even more enjoyable. The event itself felt cozy and welcoming, and there were many amazing dancers attending — the level and energy were truly inspiring. That said, there were a few issues that affected the experience. The venue was unfortunately too small for the number of participants. The dance floor was overcrowded, making it difficult to actually dance comfortably. In addition, there was no air conditioning, and the lack of proper ventilation made it quite hot and uncomfortable at times. I understand that many events in Europe take place in similar venues, but this space didn’t feel well-suited for such a large crowd. Another challenge was the leader/follower balance at the party. The ratio didn’t feel very even, and at times it was difficult to find someone to dance with. Overall, I still consider my experience positive thanks to the atmosphere and the people. I’m planning to come back next year and hope that the space, ventilation, and balance issues will be improved, because this event definitely has great potential.

2025 edition

The venue was much too small for the number of participants, which caused some challenges during classes. Teachers had to adjust their planned programs on the spot because there simply wasn’t enough space to dance—quick thinking on their part turned a class into pre-competition practice instead of what was actually planned. I felt bad for them, and several people I know chose not to attend certain classes after seeing how crowded it was. Even with fewer participants in class, the space still felt tight, which affected the overall vibe, as it seemed some attendees were frustrated with this issue.

2025 edition

WCS Party Vienna is a fun and well-organized event with a great social vibe and friendly atmosphere. The only downside was that the venue felt a bit small — the event would definitely benefit from a larger space next year. Hosting the event in Vienna is a huge plus — a central location with great food, sights, and excellent transport, which makes everything very easy and convenient.

The location is two rooms in a palace, which makes it be beautiful but veryyy tiny to dance at. The ballroom is small for the amount of people so it is not convenient to dance, and the follower:leader ration was very unequal, so that many followers had to wait along the wall. Good event to go if you are from nearby, but venue can be changed for the next time
