Travelling WestieParty Pass

2026 edition

WOTP has a special place in my Westie heart. It’s a pure social event in the south of France, with warm weather, the sea, stunning cliffs, and a small, relaxed city that creates the perfect atmosphere. The event is held in a huge venue that is perfectly suited for this kind of occasion. It’s spacious, with perfect lighting, great sound, and an amazing dance floor. There are three rooms with different music vibes, fun themed parties, and spectacular pro shows. It all has a soul. Maxence, Olivier, and Natasha put a lot of heart into creating an inclusive, warm environment where everyone can simply enjoy tons of dancing throughout the entire week.

WOTP has been explained to me as one of the best events for WCS in the world. And it did not disappoint. You can really see the heart that is poured into the event, by the organisers, staff, instructors and the participants. The schedule is spacious, spread out over a whole week, and free from the time pressure and stress of comps. The schedule had consistency in form; nothing in the morning, workshops in the afternoon, a decent dinner break and party in the evening until late. But almost every night had a different theme, activity, game or flavour to mix it up. The audition process is a whole experience; they seem to tweak it from year to year. I thought it struck a pretty good balance and after sorting the participants into 9 different leveled groups, the workshops were quite finely targeted in skill level. The venue provides a really good event setup and CRITICALLY... it has some form of AC (not to be taken for granted at European events). It was still hot outside for the whole week (close to a maritime 30 celsius) but inside was pretty decent. The lads at Istanbul Grill across the road kept me fed all week (there are a few different food options), there are bus services (including night buses) that service the area and there is a decent supermarket just over the road from the venue. Met wonderful dancers from all across Europe, and a few from the US and Asia. It is pretty hard to get a ticket; especially for those outside of the EU. The ticket release time for Asia/Australia was something like 1am or 2am, so that was a bit rough. The site also had some workload challenges and was a bit confusing to navigate for English speakers. I really wish there was a non-EU ticket allocation to give that demographic a reasonable chance to get a ticket. The on-site organisation was very efficient

One of my fav events third year in a row! Perfect combination of dancing, beach/pool and sun. Make sure that your accommodation has ac, that will help a lot. There are a lot of options with public pools, it will make your experience even more pleasant. The event is well organized, temperature in the venue is good for dancing, great teachers. I like activities like t-shirts game, line-dance, meeting sunrise together, beach party. You can feel how organizers put their soul. Totally recommend

Travelling WestieParty Pass

2025 edition

WOTP is always a good choice and 2025 was no exception. Can't speak about the workshops, but on the party pass you get what you sign up for. Dancing seven nights in a row might seem like a lot, but the schedule is smart and parties don't go all night most days. The crowd is very international, roles are well balanced, it is one of the few european events with a bigger percentage of older dancers as well which makes it more fun! The floor is perfect, there are multiple rooms (some warmer than others). The bar has drinks, snacks and icecream available during socials, there are outside areas to chill if you stay quiet. Easily accessible by bus. There are a few restaurants around the venue and a supermarket right across the street as well. Overall good event, can recommend.

WOTP, a week dancing in the south of France, 100% social, I love it! Spending time with friends, airbnb with swimming pool, it's an awesome week! Very good classes with top teachers (amount is just perfect per day), very nice social dancing in different rooms with different music, so there's always something for everybody. I really love the game they have on Saturday to start to week, to dance with as many people and to sign the white shirt you get from the organization, it's such a nice way to set the vibe for the whole week and to mix dancers from all levels. And the whole week has that vibe during socials, very chill, good ratio leader/follower. This year there was no beach party but a chill social at the venue, also very nice. And I can really suggest to go wachting the sunrise after the Monday party, people swim as well because water is not so cold, and it's a very cosy moment with dancing, small viennoiseries and a beautiful sunrise! Day after day off, so time to sleep a lot and to recover for the next days. Location is pretty central in Mandelieu la Napoule, bakery and supermarket in front of the venue, a lot of Airbnb/camp sites etc nearby. So I can really suggest if you wan to have a chill week with no comps and just awesome social dancing and very high quality classes, grab your friends and book a nice Airbnb with AC and swimming pool to relax during the week, and go to WOTP!
