2026 edition

WOTP has a special place in my Westie heart. It’s a pure social event in the south of France, with warm weather, the sea, stunning cliffs, and a small, relaxed city that creates the perfect atmosphere. The event is held in a huge venue that is perfectly suited for this kind of occasion. It’s spacious, with perfect lighting, great sound, and an amazing dance floor. There are three rooms with different music vibes, fun themed parties, and spectacular pro shows. It all has a soul. Maxence, Olivier, and Natasha put a lot of heart into creating an inclusive, warm environment where everyone can simply enjoy tons of dancing throughout the entire week.

2026 edition

One of my fav events third year in a row! Perfect combination of dancing, beach/pool and sun. Make sure that your accommodation has ac, that will help a lot. There are a lot of options with public pools, it will make your experience even more pleasant. The event is well organized, temperature in the venue is good for dancing, great teachers. I like activities like t-shirts game, line-dance, meeting sunrise together, beach party. You can feel how organizers put their soul. Totally recommend

2025 edition

I'm a late-night social dancer, so this was an amazing event. Beautiful location, variety of parties/options, and 3 dance floors! The floors differ, but the ability to choose which music suits you is really amazing. The beach dances were unique and awesome, as was walking to the beach for sunrise. Really special event. There were great food options, swimming options, etc. Lots of people, and it was pretty packed, and sweaty, but fully worth it for the full week-long vacation experience. There were snacks and food available throughout the night which was really nice.

Be sure to take walking shoes and a couple dance shoe options for different floors.

2026 edition

This was my first WOTP and the biggest event I joined so far. I am really impressed with the spotless organisation for such a big event with hundreds of participants. The full focus on high quality workshops and social part was amazing! You have some of the best teachers in the scene, tons of social dancing and activities tailored to get the participants to meet and have some fun. The atmosphere is relaxed, dancers of every level mix together and you can just spend hours on the dance floor, connecting with others or practicing what you learnt during the day. I travelled there solo and I found a welcoming group of Volunteers and attendees! A tip for solo followers: don’t stand on the side line and wait to be invited; get your courage, ask someone and get in the mix. You will barely be able to leave the dance floor afterwards :) the venue is big and climatised (yes, it’s still the south of France in summer, so expect to sweat). There are 3 dance floors that are packed until the end of the parties, but you can always find a good spot to dance! Language is a mix of French and English: ask someone for help in class if you don’t understand or ask the teachers! I don’t want to spoil the event, but there are activities to please almost everyone, social butterflies or WCS nerds. The type of passes allows for flexibility in terms of activities (full or party pass) or time investment (full week or 3 days pass). This event will be on my list of must for a long time! Thank you to the team for putting together such an amazing experience.
